UNHCR's Senior protection officer Mr. Francis Teoh from the perspective of international conventions and the UN refugee organization clarifying the definition and importance of nationality, emphasizing the international community's basic position on the prevention and reduction of statelessness and the content of relevant conventions, he explains the concern of the UNHCR to undecided people outside of regugees.As the UNHCR's senior protection officer in China, Mr. Teoh shared with students the challenges facing Chinese society in this regard based on UNHCR's actual work and observations in China, he was also highly appreciate and look forward to the strength of modern China and new opportunities for legal people in this field.

The main purpose of the office of UNHCR is to protect the rights and health of refugees. The office of the UNHCR works to ensure that everyone is entitled to seek asylum in another country, to find safe haven and willing to return home.Except to help refugees return to the country or settle in another country, the officer of the UNHCR also seeks a permanent solution to their plight.
Attending this meeting is also because our company always pursues the principle of "love without borders". It is hoped that more understanding of the situation of international refugees can be obtained so that assistance can be provided within our capacity.
After the meeting, Mr. Yangdongliang and UNHCR's Senior protection officer Mr. Francis Teoh exchanged views on UNHCR's measures in dealing with the refugee issue and the current contribution of Chinese enterprises in international refugee relief. Mr. Francis Teoh expressed appreciation to Chinese companies, especially private ones, for this kind of behavior, he hopes to see more people like Mr. Yangdongliang, more enterprises like Senso.
